Teachers of Arianna,18-year-old, Indian-Origin Teen Murdered in her $5M home express grief and said she loved singing and was a great student.
In the sad story of Arianna “Aria” Kamal, the 18-year-old girl found dead with her parents in what seems like a murder-suicide, her teachers said she was really smart and spiritual. This info comes from a statement the New York Post got.
One of her teachers shared that she was not just a great student but also an amazing singer. This was after the news came out that Arianna and her parents were found dead in their big $5 million house in Dover, Massachusetts. According to the statement from Middlebury College, she loved singing and wanted to go to Italy with the college opera group. Her teacher, Melissa Hammerle, mentioned that Arianna was always connected in class and loved everything she did.
Arianna was a freshman studying neuroscience. The statement talked about her participating in Middlebury’s Lessons and Carols service and singing in the College Choir. Her teacher Hammerle also said she was a beautiful writer and always gave her best effort. Arianna was a spiritual person and really got into the material in her first-year seminar course. Hammerle taught her about Mindfulness in Education. Arianna had graduated from the prestigious Milton Academy.
Arianna was back home for Christmas break when she was found dead with her parents, Teena and Rakesh Kamal. They were the founders of a now-closed tech company called EduNova. Their bodies were found in their house on Thursday, and the police found a gun near Rakesh Kamal.
The district attorney called it a domestic violence situation. He said there were no previous reports of issues or domestic problems at their house or in the neighborhood. The investigation is still early, but the evidence so far suggests this was a domestic violence incident and not involving anyone from outside the family.
A relative discovered their bodies when they hadn’t heard from them in a day or two. The district attorney also mentioned there were no past reports of domestic issues at their home.
The New York Post, referring to online records, shared that the Kamals seemed to have money problems in recent years. Their fancy house was taken away, and Teena filed for bankruptcy earlier in 2022. The company they started, EduNova, also closed down.A
