Gujarat CID Crime Busts Huge Illegal Immigration Ring to the US! A complicated network of agents making this secret migration happen.
In a major move against illegal immigration, the Gujarat CID Crime has uncovered a big plan helping Indians sneak into the United States. Following orders from the Additional Director General of Police, CID Crime and Railways, a surprising discovery was made when a flight from Dubai, stopping in France’s Vatry Airport, was found carrying 303 passengers, with 260 being Indians.
Surprisingly, 96 of these passengers were from Gujarat. The Gujarat CID Crime’s investigation revealed a complicated network of agents making this secret migration happen. Mainly working from Gujarat, these agents targeted people with education levels from 8th to 12th grade, promising them a way into the United States.
The journey, starting from Ahmedabad to Dubai and then Nicaragua, cost each person between Rs 60 lakh ($72K) to Rs 80 lakh ($96K). The investigation also found that these agents were paid $1,000 to $3,000 just for helping people cross the American border.
Digging into the finances, the inquiry looked at the money trail for flight tickets and how visas were obtained. Shockingly, it was discovered that the passports of these individuals didn’t have the required stamps.
To get all the details, the CID Crime has asked the Immigration FRRO in Ahmedabad for information on the 66 passengers who traveled from different Indian cities to Dubai between December 10 and December 20. The investigation aims to uncover the agents, how Dubai visas were obtained, and the money involved in these illegal activities.
Taking action, 55 of these individuals have been called in for questioning after visits to their homes. This has led to the identification of about 15 agents deeply involved in this illegal immigration operation. Stay tuned for more updates on this unfolding investigation.
