Alex Batty Found. Alex Batty, the British teenager who reappeared in southern France six years after his disappearance, is set to board a direct flight from Toulouse to London on Saturday afternoon, as disclosed by French prosecutor Samuel Vuelta Simon.
The young boy vanished at the age of 11 during a vacation with his mother and grandfather in Malaga, Spain, back in 2017, after leaving a spiritualist community in the Pyrenees mountains.
Deputy prosecutor Antoine Leroy revealed on Friday that for the past two years, the youth had been residing in numerous locations in southern France, engaging with “spiritual communities” alongside his mother, illustrating that it wasn’t within a group. Leroy also revealed the recent passing of the boy’s grandfather about six months ago, and there is quite a possibility that the mother is currently in Finland.
Working in collaboration with French officials, Greater Manchester Police is very actively involved in efforts to deport Alex Batty to his grandmother, who serves as Batty’s legal guardian. According to reports from France’s BFM TV, a search operation is underway to locate Batty’s mom.
