COVID-19 Pandemic Origin: Former Biden counsellor Dr. Raj Panjabi acknowledges the likelihood of a lab leak in Wuhan.
At a recent health conference in New York City former Special Assistant to President Joe Biden, Dr. Raj Panjabi, acknowledged the likelihood of the pandemic initiating from a lab leak in Wuhan.
Describing the laboratory leak philosophy as “reasonable,” Dr. Panjabi urged governments globally to “do more to ensure the safety of laboratories.”
President Biden himself had criticized former President Donald Trump in May 2020, tagging Trump’s proposal that COVID-19 arisen from a lab in Wuhan as “nakedly xenophobic.”
However, recent evaluations by the FBI, the Department of Energy, and various scientists and officials within the U.S. government have lent support to the laboratory leak theory as the most feasible reason of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The official stance from the White House remains that the roots of COVID-19 are still indeterminate. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan has emphasized that there is “no definitive answer” to the query of how the COVID-19 pandemic started.
